Dawn Callan’s Journey
Update
It is with great sadness that we share that our dear friend Dawn, left her earthly body for home in early 2022. She is deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. We are eternally grateful for her collaboration and friendship.
BIO:
Her unique focus on life skills of spirituality, philosophy and physical training has made her successful in developing her own businesses. Spiritual teachings have always been central to her life. Student for over 40 years in Eastern, Western and Native philosophies and traditions. Founder and Author of Awakening the Warrior Within her self defense and self awareness workshops have been held both in the US and China. Her Awakening the Warrior workshop has been recognized as the best Defense System. When she was unable to teach the physical aspects of her work she experienced the loss as a spiritual death. Forced to find Spirit’s message, she realized that filling the emptiness was the next step on her journey as seeker and teacher.
Her workshop of Finding the Warrior within are now being franchised in China and successfully taught. Currently her teachings on “Shadow” work are being taught on-line. She is a 10th degree Black Belt, and is honored as a Soke or Grandmaster, in both the U.S. and China.

Willingness to change is not easy, but it is everything
- When everything is stripped away we get to see what really matters.
- Illness does not define us but it can motivate and inspire us.
- Having seen the other side of death she knows there is nothing at all to fear.
- Letting go of the identity you spent a lifetime cultivating does not mean life is over; in many ways it is just beginning.

Circular Chakras: Her beautiful teachings of strength and wisdom are always reflected in the Spirituality contained within each of us. The circle of truth depicts the color of the chakra centers creating the circle of life.

Dawn’s Chakras: Unaware of my depiction of her journey, she similarly painted her own version of the chakra system within us highlighting love and energy.
Liz’s Final Interpretation
Nature’s Beauty: Nature and the colors contained by a beautiful sunlit day with a field of flowers aligns with the chakra essence and rings forth energy, beauty and God.
